Wow - this is so very cool on so many levels. Really original and well seen. That strong shock of copper in the center anchors the image and the splashes of copper throughout act as a thread to hold it together. The image is both strong and subtle. I guess you can tell - I love this photograph - well done!

Very good abstract shot, I'm wondering about the origin of the steel springs, if they're from a mattress it must have been really uncomfortable :-0

@Observing: thank you! all that remains of a rather small mattress that had been
torched... i was hauling the debris to the recycling bin and it just kept
saying "shoot me, shoot me"!

This could be the poster image to give a whole knew meaning to the phrase "being wound too tight"...interesting composition.
